Letters & Luxury

Hello again! It's been a cold day here in tassie so I have two cards to share - I love staying inside by the fire in this weather - hopefully spring is on it's way soon.

My first card is for the current challenge at Casology where the theme is letter and I have used a set from Lawn Fawn which I have had forever - I love the cute typewriter...it takes me back to my school days when I learnt to type on one of these old machines:)

My Card:

My second card is for the challenge at Addicted to Cas and this week they have the code word of 'Luxury'. For me I feel that time is a luxury...and we have to make the most of every day and here is the card I came up with

My card:

Thanks so much for your visit today - I hope you have a great week xx

Supplies: Lawn fawn stamp sets - you've got mail & just my type, Stampin up stamp set - summer afternoon, copics, lil inker rectangle dies, darice embossing folder

Karen, I adore your letter card, the little airmail stamp is so cute. And your take on the code word is so perfect and the card just CAS perfection for me!

Love both of these cards. I remember those old typewriters. Used to own one. The swing is great. love it on your card. I have begun to put together a post of a project I made a few years back. I is a swing VERY similar to the one on your card. We still use it. - Jim

Karen, both cards are wonderful! I actually have that exact swing in my back yard...my children and DH gave it to me for Mother's Day a few years ago! Your coloring is fabulous. I also love that Lawn Fawn typewriter and the fun colors you used on your card...a great take on the cue this week at CASology! Thanks for playing along!

Hey Karen!!I love both of your cards but I totally love your air mail card. Its so cute. I miss typing on a typewriter. I was looking for one the other day and they are hard to come by or someone wants $300 for it. Nicely done.

I LOVE that LF typewriter, Karen, and it looks fabulous in blue! Great additions of texture and pops of colour too. :) Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

Two lovely cards. Interesting how each of chooses a different concept of what is luxury to them.

Hi Karen, Thanks for calling by my blog, its wonderful to see you xx
What great cards, I love that old Typewriter and the embossed background is a perfect backdrop. Your second card is so brilliant for "Luxury" yes even in our retirement TIME is always an issue! time seems to slip away so fast..I think its because we are getting slower (I would never admit to it though)...lol
